Getting our hair braided can be a game-changer—it gives us a stress-free couple of weeks and frees up time to focus on what matters most, without the daily question of "How do I style my hair today?" But what if I told you that some braiding hair products may be harmful to our health? Reports have surfaced suggesting that certain brands contain toxic chemicals, with some even linked to cancer-causing substances.

Born August 9, 1989, to former slaves Robert and Isabella Turnbo. Unfortunately, both of her parents died when she was young, but she was either raised by her older sister or Aunt. (I read multiple sources about her, and this part was reported differently each time, so I decided to just say both because they both helped in a way to raise her into the woman she became.) As she grew up, she would eventually get sick and would have to drop out of school. This was not going to slow her down at all. She would continue her studies, especially with chemistry, and with the help of her aunt (an herbalist of her time) she would learn how to mix and formulate different herbal recipes. Thus, igniting the spark inside her that would build an empire for ethnic hair.

Starting a business is not just one of your daily simple tasks. It requires strategic planning, research, and time. Procrastinating at any stage can wind up being costly later on. No, I am not talking $$$ money wise, I am talking career wise. Listen I use to be the person who would say to myself "it can wait till tomorrow," but tomorrow never came, until someone would say "wasn't you suppose too...". Luckily, I have found ways to make sure I put my business first and writing out this plan helped a ton. I also did a ton of research and reading.
